 James had more cake and discovered how much fun it was to paint his face with frosting.

 Elinor shows signs of frosting success too. She loved walking with Papa after playing on the playground equipment...

19 June 2011 ~ Father's Day

We enjoyed Father's Day with a visit from Elizabeth's family.

Little Miss Elinor looked so pretty in her purple Sunday dress.

Good thing her mommy brought a change of clothes. 

Elinor shares her Papa's love of chocolate. 

  

Home made ice cream sandwiches were a big hit & a big mess

 Not only was it Father's Day, but Mathias' 7th birthday.

Papa knew it might be hard not to open a present on his 

birthday, so we had a little something wrapped just for the occasion. 

Did you know there are 92 pages in an M&M notebook?   

 Mathias and his brother James were worn out 

after counting all those pages. 

 They looked pretty innocent sitting together 

on the bean bags.

Stephen enjoyed his Father's Day activities...

Thomas was very happy with Father's Day visitors,

but as usual, not feeling photo friendly...

I need stealth tactics to catch him unaware.

2011 ~ Meeting Miss Addie

 We were recently treated to a special visit from Little Miss Addison Davis. 

 Her sweet mommy and daddy brought her down from NO CA to meet her Great Grama Davis and the rest of her extended Davis family...like her Papa Rich and Grama Suzie

And cousins...aunties and more

Mom's Happy In & Out Birthday

Whenever we ask Mom where she wants to go 

for lunch or dinner, she brightens up and sings
"In & Out!"   

This year 14 members of our family gathered to cheer on 

the beginning of her 92 year at In & Out.

  Happy 92nd Birthday Mom...
