The rain started while we packed up on Friday. We raced back down I-395 to Reno, drove down I-80 across Donner Pass into a war like storm of big rigs, road construction and even heavier rain. Another exhausting day ended in Davis, CA, where we dropped into sleep at the local Motel 6. Our wake up call was none other than Tom Boddett saying..."Congratulations you won $10Million Dollars. Just kidding. It's time to get up" Needless to say I woke up giggling. The adventure continued as we made our way to Hwy101 and up to Nick's wedding in Rohnert Park on Saturday morning.
The wedding was held on the golf course. Bright colorful flowers cheered up the graying sky. The sun made a timely and blessed appearance during the ceremony and for picture taking that followed. Families once divided joined together with friends old and new to reminisce and enjoy the wedding events. A buffet
Donielle Mish was escorted down the aisle by her dad.
Pictures were taken, joyful tears were shed and hugs and kisses were plentiful.
Things became more lively as the afternoon progressed. The wedding cake was cheesecake with butter-cream frosting. Yummm
Sisters dancing...Debbie, Denise, Aunt Linda and Monique. Grama and Kristy's husband Patrick look on from the sidelines.
Here we go again..back down the 101, across the Golden Gate Bridge, through San Fransisco and into Gilroy where we met Bunny and Ed for a quick visit at Baskin Robbins....yummy ice cream break. Back in the car driving across 152 to the I-5 and home by again by 1:30AM Sunday morning 10-05-2008
