October 2008 Annual Trip to Jeff's in Buckley, WA

This year Jeff has a new Honda 'something something' 1800 motorcycle.
Saves on gas money he says... vroom, vroom...

Kelly and the girls enjoyed celebrating Jeff's Oct 10th birthday with gifts and giggles. The motorcycle mask was a real hit!

We all had fun together with Dad Jim, MJ and little sister Anne.

Anne's pretty Mommy, MJ, made the best lemon cake...yum... to celebrate both Oct birthday's. Anne on the 8th and Jeff on the 10th.

Oh see the girl on the far right in the brown and pink GAP shirt? That's not another daughter, that's Jeff's wife, Kelly!

The rest of the group includes Hannah, with Daddy Jeff behind her and her arm around Sarah. Jeff's Dad Jim is just behind him with the Santa whiskers, Anne is in nestled between Dad Jim and Mom MJ. And on the right is Kelly and Rebekah. Happy, happy, joy, joy... Families can be together forever...

'Doncha' love that view from Dad Jim's deck... I think they call that Commerce Bay in North Tacoma.

With Halloween just around the corner, the girls decided to start getting ready. They modeled their costumes. There was the Greek Goddess Hannah (11 3/4 yrs). Groovy Go-Go Dancer Rebekah (8 11/12 yrs) in the middle and Sweet Angel Sarah (was 10 the end of Aug) with the halo on the right.

The dentist gave the Sarah and Rebekah some pretty interesting looking bite-plate-retainers while I was visiting. Ouch! And lucky Hannah has a permanent appliance in her mouth, plus really great looking head gear, but she decided nobody was going to get a picture of her looking like that... But this grama has to say that life without her braces (for the past year or so) feels really great. Wonder if they make braces for that chin,Grama?

...and just for fun, 'Bekah and Sarah sang their version of the YMCA song...
